During Your Stay

Pets must be supervised at all times and not left unattended indoors unless crated.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets inside and out.

Any damages or additional cleaning caused by pets may result in additional charges.

Many boutique shops in downtown NSB welcome leashed pets. Both Flagler avenue and Canal Street offer a perfect relaxed afternoon exploring with your fur baby.

During the summer, Riverside Park comes alive with concerts and art festivals! Leashed pups are welcome, making it a fun way to enjoy NSB’s local culture together.

Stroll along the North Causeway towards the historic district of NSB (Canal Street) for a scenic outing with many options to stop along the way.

Nestled beside the Marina in the Historic Canal Street District, Old Fort Park offers a spacious, grassy lawn shaded by old-growth trees, the perfect spot for your pup to stretch their legs and unwind.

Just across the street, you’ll find Riverside Park, an eight-acre gem along the Indian River. With its winding walking paths, gazebo, playground, streamside boardwalk, and fishing pier, this scenic park is a favorite gathering place for both locals and visitors. Throughout the year, it also plays host to lively art festivals and a summer concert series.

New Smyrna Beach offers a beautiful designated stretch of shoreline just for dogs, with plenty of space to roam, play, and explore. A favorite among both locals and visitors, Smyrna Dunes Park is a 73-acre oasis of pristine waterfront land at the northern tip of the beach. Here, you and your four-legged friend can enjoy scenic boardwalks, sweeping coastal views, and direct access to the dog-friendly sand and surf. (See map above for location.)

Dogs must remain leashed, and we recommend visiting in the morning or late afternoon to keep paws cool.

Bring fresh water, shade, and a few treats for post-walk smiles.

Doggie showers are located in the parking lot of the park for your convenience.

Always bring waste bags and clean up after your pet . New Smyrna Beach prides itself on its natural beauty.

Carry a collapsible water bowl and fresh water. While many restaurants set out bowls, it’s always best to have your own on hand.

Keep flea/tick prevention up to date, especially in warmer months.

Never leave pets unattended in cars! Florida heat can be dangerous year-round.
